Making someone a lot of money. Get a load of what they try and charge for a copy. Wonder who and how someone got picked for that job?

All it's really going to succeed in doing is making deputies second-guess themselves and possibly at a crucial moment.... Everybody's afraid to react when they know they're on camera.

They have their pros and cons. Usually good when someone complains or lies about something you did on a call. Bad since you do second guess yourself, defense attorneys rip you a new one and even though they say they dont, brass looks it as a disciplinary tool. Im against them personally

Agreed....how many times has a camera helped a deputy vs hurt one. They are used against us more often than not.

What's the policy of bodycams at PSO? I've seen videos where deputies clearly have control over the cameras being on or recording audio. Is there a link to a general order online?

    Shit boxes

Body worn cameras are the worst devices to come along, in a long time. Big brother watching big brother. They take away the discretion of the officer on the scene, they open a can of worms each and every time they are activated, they ensure an officer will be fired in almost each and every circumstance they are used. They are a tool of the administration as a monday morning quaterback approach to dicipline and an hand cuff to the officer in the field. They also take away due process since everyone believes what they see and hear and since the camera does not lie they must be accurate. Nocco did not implement body cams in favor of the officer in the field since he has NO ****ING FIELD EXPERIENCE AT ALL!!! He is a kid handed an agency by the GOP machine in Pasco County of which Mike Fasano is the God Father. Nocco has no cop experience what so ever and to give himself credibility he used to hang out with the SWAT officers and maybe train with them alittle to gain their respect and give himself the notion he is a cop doing cop shit!. He could not even make a traffic stop and secure evidence properly when he first arrived. He speaks like an ignorant inexperienced civilian and uses poor vocabulary to boot. He is a wanna be Grady Judd and unfortunately for his rank and file has NO FIELD EXPERIENCE what so ever. A Rubio and Scott puppet as evidenced by his wifes ties to Tallahassee through her lobbying firm, whch happens to be the largest firm in Tallahassee.

What's the policy for turning the cams on/off? I know TPD allows officers to turn them off if a citizen asks. Does PSO have that practice?
