    No more PBA

The fear and intimidation active of the PBA against the mayor is going to screw us with the contract. Business is business but you don't attract the mayor at his restaurant and make it personal. We saw how that turned out with Hollywood with job cuts, pension cuts and even pay cuts. We need to dump the PBA like BSO did and show the mayor that we are not with the PBA using these tactics.

The PBA is useless. Should have dumped them years ago.

Ok,so as it turns out, since we have an expired contract, we are able to file fore a PERC election from now until we have a ratified contract. If we chose to go to another union, we can continue to negotiate and have a new union just take over from here or start over. We need to follow our brothers and sisters at BSO and dump Marano and the PBA. It has already. Even looked into. We can. It form our own chapter of the PBA, we can not go to the Dade PBA and election process will not be changed. Only two options are to go to another union or put up with the garbage we have

Sorry, no but way to pay attention. The FOP got it's ass kicked 2:1 in the vote. You'll just have to suffer thru another contract where you get 11% over 3 years. Tough road to hoe.
