Raul and Bolanos were smart. Is it true that Rock invested his money on one of the Hialeah strip joints?

They were not smart, they were crooked.
They had inside information about the largest mall in the US being built nearby off 183 St and I-75, formed a corporation and purchased the land. Their corporation was headed by Alex Vilarela, the former City Attorney, Bolanos as the former Chief of Police, Martinez as the former indicted mayor and their loyal crooked flunkies inside of city hall.
In the stock market they would have all been indicted and thrown in federal prison for insider trading, but in Miami; oh well!
