    Thin blue line

Latest email from acting captain was very touching, perhaps we could be more if a brotherhood if we had leadership with character, morals, integrity, competence, and cared about their subordinates under their command. Current supervision looks at officers like we are lazy complainers who will not do anything unless prompted by supervisors. Lack of leadership is what created this atmosphere , encouraging and favoring popular officers to throw brothers under the bus to get promoted is just one policy they have employed. Administrators are the ones who have created this environment , don't blame front line officers. Chief still dies not realize how messed up patrol is, poor supervisors, high call volume, inadequate resources or personnel to do job . Even rookie officers realize what a mess this place is and are looking for other jobs, turnover rate is at its highest, moral at its lowest.new chief for almost a year and nothing has changed for frontline troops. How do you promote someone to acting sergeant, then place him on administrative leave several days later? Example of incompetence or ignorance.

Sorry but brotherhood and the thin blue line died at fmpd a long time ago. This place is and will always be a place where every man is for himself, do what you have to do to stay afloat and get ahead. You can't fix that unless you knock it all down and rebuild it from the bottom.

    In conclusion

Fmpd has become a place where law enforcement careers go to die...at best it gives good ones a minimal platform to start with and build experience and take it somewhere else where it's appreciated and rewaeded. This place is now not only a joke amongst local leo agencies but within itself as well. It's like another academy after the academy...suck it up for a year or 2 and gtfo....the only ones left with any time on are the ones that are close to retirement...everyone else are rookies and miserable snake of brass.

A lot of people have left here with a few years experience and are doing amazingly well in their new agencies. I suggest you follow them

Perhaps if we could get some administrators and line supervisors that would quit f______ng this place up like they have been for the past several years we could turn this place around, current acting supervisors are not the answer, they are part of the problem.

    Turning around

We are too far gone...it'll be at least a decade to weed out the remainder of pathetic promotions that were made in recent years along with the current admin. Until then, not a chance.... should have let the county take over a few years back...those sacrifices would have been worth it tonget rid of all the a$$holes in here....u name it...all would have been gone. Yet, same a$$holes convinced the few to protest and to go knock on doors in pity and beg. How humiliating! And what done get now? Humiliation on a different level from within. Yay for us! I was getting dirty looks and getting lectured by supervisors for not participating in all of the humiliation activities. Now I have to be in fear to be named in a bs IA any given day as it appears to be that admin is after senior officers....yet county guys go to work without fn worry on their mind....boy, we really took the cake on that takeover. We were taken over by incompetence instead.

Let Diggs put everybody on admin leave. It's the only thing that he knows how to do.
Let him fire you, then go to arbitration. Get your job back then sue the city. This whole place is in chaos right now and leadership is gone for their most part.
Becky, jrod, musante, etc all need to go. They were part of their bs system for years and they all benifitted from it.
So let Diggs place everybody on leave, it can't last forever. Besides, all of you WILL be back. Heyman Diggs place me on admin leave, so I can sue the sit out of the city. I have them FREEH report on my side.
