why the morale problems - heres the answer - heres the solution

The H is a day care center that can run code and carry guns. Like a day care center theses a lot of crying, whining and not enough discipline. The whole hiring process went astray a long while ago. The administration has so many ill fitting misfit children to have to watch, it takes away from their jobs to effectively administrate.

People read this board and laugh at the county and give no respect. I hope when the day care center is cleaned, the best deputies are hired, not the best applicants. The whole post and pray method of filling certified slots has diluted the department from an elite organization with the most seasoned veteran administrators and staff, to being judged by the misfit washouts who spend their time bringing others down. Millennials in law enforcement - like putting addicts in charge of public safety, they are entitled prone to tantrums and need constant supervision. At least with addicts there's rehab and a shot at change. But addicts a already defective, their behavior and everything about them has to managed, because their entitled sensitivities are fragile and if "they have a bad day", they "relapse' and find excuses why With certified crybabies, its total behavior modification and new wave management techniques that have to be used - that takes time away from what real law enforcement is all about.

That's a fair observation, but what this agency really needs is an enima and it needs to start at the top. We have a sheriff who is being investigated for corruption, and rarely comes around. We have a chief who is dumber than a fence post and a vengeful prick. A female captain who is so dumb she makes the chief look like Albert Einstein. Another captain who's now so scared of his own shadow he won't do anything at all, but hide. We have several leiutenants who are absolute washouts, but were promoted because they're all too willing to look the other way and/or do the illegal unethical tasks they're directed to do by the chief. The deputies and sergeants are mostly good people who have zero leadership or training. They do what they can within the miserable environment in which they work, but do as little as possible to avoid conflict with the admin. The change has to start at the top. Hopefully that situation is working its self out ASAP

the Chief and the female captain, they work together so well, dont they? the lieutenants are dangerous in the sense of vesting too much authority into either, one is a recycle from the corrections academy where he began his "career", the other is genetically dumb and deserves whatever $hit he gets splashed with in the investigation, baby huey. the deputies and sergeants..are victims of circumstances, either their own limited ability and problems, or being in the wrong department and now tainted by just being associated with the place.

And that brings up another issue. Anyone who can leave is or has. The problem is that the agency has such a negative stigma throughout the area, that it's difficult to get hired anywhere. In addition to that, several people were told by other agencies that they were given negative references by the HCSO. Those were people who have never had a write up or discipline. Apparently that's the chief's deputy retention plan. This place is a one star sh1t show for real!!!!

A bad reference from someone like 102 is a stellar compliment, and Hendry is not a 1 star anything, its a 4 star sh1thole ran by, ruled, terrorized, and ran into the ground by professional losers. Mumbles gynomastica totally suits you, do you wear a strap on for your private time or rely on implant and viagra?

Bad references are a good thing I hear. A certain monetary incentive in that sort of thing.

Like how, dont talk around something, theres too too much of that going on here, say it, this is a 'safe space' for the rank and file who have to put up with puppet sheriff and "Im in charge 102" Fuc%ing just say it as long as its not slanderous. At least we have ethics and are fair - $cumbags give cheapshot bull$hit bad references for personal reasons, since there is no other reason, because those who do that are no where near professional, they just wear rank that means nothing its a title, personally they are nobodies. Take away their position and place them in say a lockup or vulnerable position and see whats really inside. Nothing.
