New Jail Capt.
Just what the jail needed, yet another captain....and from another agency again. A major and 3 captains, can anyone explain the need? Maybe they had to have a fourth person in case a volleyball game breaks out? What a disgusting waste of money and office space.

It truly is a waste. To many Chiefs and not enough Indians. But the new captain fits right in with the other liars. He said in read off the Colonel called him and asked him if he wanted to get back in to the game, that part I can believe. He then told us all he was not doing it for the money, are you FN kidding us?
A couple of weeks later our most wonderful bureau commander, Maj. SJ, said in read off, the road was full and she was not going to allow anyone to transfer to the road, yet two days later, Nocho said in an email the road was in dire need of bodies.
Honor & Integrity? Not with the leadership here.
The current administration can barely staff the jail during normal operations, with no hospital posts, training, vacations, military leave and bangins. The Kitchen, control rooms and transport were all privatized, over 50 people hired in the past year and OT is still rampant. Nacho, you don't care about your Detention Deputies, let alone your LEO's.

The joke is the entire supervisory staff at the jail, none of which are leaders by any means. The jail is understaffed and over populated. If the Sheriff ever decided to privatize it, not one Sergeant would be capable of landing a job anywhere near 70-80k a year, lazy overweight and don't have your back.
The IPS teams are comprised of bodies that should be assigned to a pod, LOL is no Cook County or Rikers Island. IPS is a waste of man power.
If you voice your opinion to the command staff when they ask for suggestions, they say....If you don't like it leave.
Who can argue with that? I will say this, they are the type leaders, if down range, would send a platoon in to a minefield and wave from afar. It's unfortunate, you have to watch your back at the jail, the inmates are not the only ones wearing stripes you have to worry about.

Your measured by how many incentive classes you have completed, and weather you have a degree or not. Promotions are not based upon how well you run a pod, do younger deputies look up to you? can you handle yourself in a volatile situation?
It's not just money, why we are still bleeding. Anyone with a little common sense sees this, and those with none are being promoted at good-ol Waste Management LOL.
Flee they will. Why not start recruiting at tent city in St. Pete?
