I’m sorry you’ve heard things that have made you develop a negative opinion of D5. Those who actually work there and have firsthand knowledge of it really really love it.

Come work a night shift with only 5 units. In fact, do that for many months at a time. Lets see how you like it then.

You are still under the academy programing and all the TV BS you been fed. You are the typical robot rookie they want. Ill see you back here under different terms in a few years once your whole “Been there, doing that” takes its toll. Or maybe you been here a while but are too much of an approval seeker needing this place to give you an identity. You think its ok to work for years stressed and short handed while many other ride the gravy train?

How about this? Instead of people quitting for a better agency or actual career in the private sector. Maybe listening, accepting, and actually fixing the problems would be a better solution. How about making this the “better agency”? Your prideful blind robot mentality is the cancer of this agency and why it never progresses. It sure as hell looks as if its progressive from the outside, but inside, what the public does not see, is the same old archaic miserable garbage. Many love this job. Remember that most people quit people. They quit bad leaders. They quit bad policy. Not the job. Not fixing the reasons so many have quit is the tip of the spear of this agency’s failure. You are a prime example of this paradigm. Trust me when I say that these issues reflect back on our services to the public.
