Don't listen to the above poster as u can tell its the same person. He was probably one of the losers that couldn't cut it and quit before he could retire. Its a great agency with lots of room for advancement. Losers like the poster above who tried to make it look like several different people replied should probably just go ahead and hang themselves if they r so miserable, then again it might be Double Chin Jim. He was a loser that used to work here. When he was finally figured out as being a loser and a pos and he was let go. He is now over in St. Pete where he has been figured out and is probably looking for a way out as we speak.

You're the same retard working in a pod at one of the jails that shits in every thread with your written diarrhea and inability to spell or punctuate correctly. Maybe when you master typing we'll let you come out and work the road. In the meantime, keep kissing the non-existent ass on this board. I'm sure someone will promote you to corporal soon. Oh, and newsflash, no one of the LEO side of the house gives a shit about our ex-colonel then or now.

Exactly. You have to realize this guy is probably one of the anointed ones who has had everything handed to him, so of course he feels everything is good and everyone is just losers who should "hang themselves".
Very revealing of the people at HCSO. There are good, bad, political, neutral, etc., just like every other Agency. Is there an accurate way to predict where you will land once you get hired and have a career here? No way.
So, if you really want to be a deputy, this Agency is like most. Just realize that you won't get rich and anything can happen as time progresses no matter how hard you work or what you do. Sometimes, you're just not going to be liked if you do great or you can be promoted when you shouldn't be. It's part of the game. If you can accept that, go for it.
As far as going with TPD- seems like the most popular thing to do and at least you can get out at 20... and the pay is better. I don't know why any new young hire wouldn't try to get hired with TPD first just from the financial and future outlook.

We should be able to come to this site and expose the HCSO's BS wothout anyone calling us dorks.
The guy that does that belives that one day all these posts will be the subject of a subpoena and he will come off looking like some kind of "do boy" hero.
