They should let AD SD pick the next chief, she seems to be making all of the right moves lately while building her transition team. Her best bet would be Nanney. Nanney is due his opportunity and MDPD will need a true crime fighter in the years to come not the fist pumping fake bravado we get from AD FR and company. She is already running things from behind the scenes just look at her ability to put VD back in the Airport.
