    Stedman Stahl for PBA president

The time has come for the PBA to take a different direction. The current administration has been entrenched for too long a time and seems to have lost its way. Steadman Stahl has always wanted to make reforms but he has to live under the shadow of the current president and his hand picked associates. Stahl would bring the necessary changes that would allow the PBA to have a voice once again. Such issues as body cameras, marihuana citations instead of arrests, the continued carnage inflicted on the department by our tyrant mayor need to be addressed by a strong bargaining unit. The current president's "public face" is far different from reality and what happens behind the scene. Stahl is the answer to our problems.

    Stronger with New Blood

I agree hole heartily if Steadman would wipe the entire slate clean of that entire regime. There's no way we can sit here and say that leaving "hand picked" people along with a new leader is realistic. Steadman would be a Great Choice but he needs to
Eliminate the escrament he has near him. Board memebers that are unethical and stand for Nothing but what "they can gain". We can't turn our cheeks to the Fact that, lifestyle and choices are a reflection on the persons character. That leads to the Sound Decisions being made for a entity. How can Steadman lead and make changes whe the corruption will linger!!

He would be a great president! He just needs to get rid of all the trash on the board. The hypocrites who walk with their heads up high the gossiping, and promiscuous one are No good to be around him. These are grown men who sleep around in their wives some even with Oter cops. The PBA board should be individuals we look up to who have our best interests in mind. Their lack luster desire to do good for others is going to continue to harm that organization.

Sad to read how ignorant some people can be. Sure Rivera has been there a while but that's because we do net want him to ever leave. It would be a disaster when that day comes. Some of us a few years left and want only Mr. Rivera to protect us. As for reforms- you need to get involved my friend because you just don't know what you're saying. Mr Rivera has kep the PBA current, creating a PBA app for better communications, has improved the lives of everyone he protects, he is frequently used as a leading expert across America. He has summons among and video, among other fresh ideas to improve community/police relations. His accomplishments are not only too may to attempt to mention, but be assured that no one will ever come close to accomplishing what Mr. Rivera has done. As for hand picked associates that you mention, you do realize that Mr Stahl was hand picked by Mr Rivera. He sales hand picked Mr Stahls' sister.
While some people focus on "marihuana citations", Mr Rivera focuses on getting us better wages, greater job protections and keeps the PBA the most powerful union anywhere. Truthfully, when Mr Rivera does leave (he does have to go sometime) NO ONE will ever be able to fill his fills, not even his hand picked Mr Stahl

Very well spoken! I think J RIVERA is a bit Loud at times, however he did do quite a job over the years. I think the tension between the Mayor & him needs to end. The writer is right there's so many wolves in sheep clothing hanging around, I think Steadman would need to pave his own way. Not with all the "wanna be politicians" that know so many people, and can get this and that! Just support the Union and stop talking about it. A few board members are actually are tarnishing to the Union. We really need to take a close look, no acoholiics, no adulters, no con artist and No bullcrappers!! Those kinds of people tarnish an image of what could. W possible for our Union in the Future.

Tell you what is really sad Pablo Lima (because that's who you are). It is sad to be laughed out of the 111 building on every bargaining session because our Soprano lookalike wannabe president loves nothing more than to grandstand while cutting behind the scene deals with the same mayor who is screwing us. Sad is for a president to drive around town with the attorney wife of a retired sergeant as though that was his personal pet. Sad is bringing someone like you back to be placed on the payroll at $90k a year paid out of our dues. Sad is bringing back Fuste to continue protecting his back and getting paid. So all "pullitas" aside, let this sink in, you and the crowd you hang out with did their time here and have a great retirement and drop. How about stepping aside and letting those who are here fighting for a paycheck have a crack at running the PBA? After all this is not Cuba nor China and nobody signed on with the PBA for a president for life.

Sad is That's what their all about! All of them are adultera, liars, scammers who play the righteous ones. Look around No one there can run it! Get some new blood fight for our monies to be returned to us! Look at what they speaks money on! Let's take inventory: Look at the parties, the petty cash, the vehicles. Now let's look at some of the the Values. The ladies for hire, the credits statements that disappear, the promiscuous relationships the Married ones have, one board member has a dirty little habitat that will soon be exposed and wait until his wife on the Dept finds out! That will be a spectacle. There is no one qualified to run this except Stedman I agree with the other postings to get rid of all the Trash & lets us. E the Union we once were slatted to be.

Keep up with the times. It's tied up in the courts which is controlled by the judges. Call them and ask that question
