Bob's plan to arm school teachers
He looks like an idiot because NOBODY is taking him up on his plan. He can't even get his own county to adopt it and he looks like an even bigger idiot holding public meetings trying to get his own county's school board to sign on. Another stupid idea in a long line of Bob's stupid ideas.

It's actually a brilliant political move on Bob's part. He covered himself by making security recommendations which were adopted to some degree, such as the Guardian Program. It is now the schools board and county commissioners' responsibility to fund the program and decide if they want armed teachers or not. If a mass school shooting takes place Bob is covered and the lack of security falls right on the shoulders of the school board and county commission who hold the purse strings and have the final say on armed teachers.

Bingo! These liberal school leaders are so oblivious to the intent of the law. There would be extensive training/ background/ psyche tests and it’s not frail miss Betty that will be armed. It’s the Levi Garett chewing football coach that’s willing and able to do something.

Smart move, till one of the teachers, get's all pi$$ed off and pops a student. Having more guns in the schools, isn't the answer. Some dirty harry wanna-be, will have their gun taken away, then what? Yes, it could happen to anyone, more so to a teacher, who's out of shape. Honestly, there is no easy answer to this. A cop in every school?? Maybe if it wasn't a open campus style one. On any of the shooters, were there any early warning signs? Maybe something in common, that's being overlooked. Maybe schools should be ran like a med-security prison, controlled movement, pat downs, (locker searches) I'm far from being a expect over this and like many others, I have my own opinion. Bob's riding the voter train right now, it's a hot topic, worth a few votes. Hey, if he's got the answer, then I'm all for it but so far, nada.
