    Red face TEXAS looking for troopers

    Time to consider a change of career to TEXAS??????????:
    According to the DPS website, trooper trainees make about $55,000 annually. That salary can rise to about $73,000 within the first 18 months.

    If I was younger and not in my pension or set here with my family that would be a good option. Texas DPS is a good agency, has a lot to offer plus, cost of living in most areas is comparable to Florida.
