When are we ever going to use this thread for its intended purpose; not for bashing fellow officers and those who get into trouble? All we do is bash the sheriff, the admin, fellow officers and so on. Sure, vent about the issues, not people. Complain about the pay and vehicles, but not someone accused of whatever. You may not like the officer next to you, but at least support them when they are down. So stop with the nonsense, and downright idiotic posts, please, and and lets be professional!

Since there have been newer cars being put on the road and an approval for a 10% pay increase, it is much harder for people to complain about these things. I have been at this agency for over 10 years and certainly feel that there has been a change in moral, for the better, in this agency. Sure, no agency is perfect but there has been less for some to complain about. So, this leaves these complainers with only other deputies to complain about. The bottom line is that, everyone was not made for this job and with all the new hires, it is going to take some time to weed out the ones that won't make it.
