    Commanders

Commanders, what are they? Commanders, what do they do? Commanders, when do they work? Commanders, who thought of this? Commanders, what are you?

They were "given" their jobs by his majesty. Put in place to protect him to preserve his career. They owe him, yes men. Funny thing about the commanders, I am certain that they are appointed so they do not share the same employment rights as regular officers. Time for change. Too many chiefs not enough Indians. A new city manager should ask why we have these weird and wacky positions in place, how they came about the selection process, and what do they really do? Dam this place is top heavy. Who is actually out working the dam road protecting property?

the term commander comes from a traditional police term of watch commander, this is the senior supervisor on shift, could be a captain or Lieutenant or as happens often the senior sergeant. But since his majesty eliminated the lieutenant position. he created his protection detail, gave them all nice new unmarked shiny white ford explorers . you are right they serve at his pleasure, they are at will employees, can be fired at anytime, The little diamonds you see on their collar are usually reserved for ROTC candidates or military schools, not an official designation of rank in a PD

If KV thinks that Commander AR is all on board with the dismissal of his BFF SU than he's further out there then any of us had suspected.

Anyone want to lay odds on how long it takes AR (who is much more qualified than KV) to knock the king from his ivory tower throne?

Or how long it takes KV to conduct a 14 person kangaroo court against AR?

Most of us have already heard the grimblings...

so how is KV going to save himself, guess is demote himself to Captain, after all there is now a vacant position. Demotes himself and rides the wave to retirement. But, does he now meet the qualifications for a captains position, does he have the required bachelors degree. Well we all know the answer, he can do what he wants.

Or, as it should be....he resigns or he's fired. He needs to go. I would prefer him being fired after a short but detailed investigation so that his record is so tarnished he couldn't get a job as a mall cop....that's my dream. If AR does step up and reveal the truth (again) it would help.

When one person is deemed a target by Vespia, then they remain that until they are gone. Once that happens, it's time to move on to the next one. Power through intimidation and fear is the way he runs his empire. Don't say anything to the little rats that will go running to the big cheese or you'll be next. Just look at the turnover in the department since he took over.

The agency is too top heavy. There are too many Commanders that do nothing except protect KV. This place needs a serious flushing.

Let us not forget the rats and snitches, once the head rat is gone the rest will follow. You 14 know who you are and so don't we. Losers surviving on the backs of good cops,
