It's more likely admin is more concerned with putting vehicle IDs with an officers name. They are parked at homes, stores and around town. If someone is looking to get back at an officer for even something as simple as a ticket, this makes it easier to find them. This isn't about sexism but officer safety. I believe they only want to know how many females are driving or assigned to SUV's and they are getting stonewalled by admin. The Public record law affords our law enforcement officers many needed protections. It does not provide method to conceal abuse of power and constitutional rights. Its called corruption and we have every right to expose it.

Section 119.011(12), F.S., defines “public records” to include:

all documents, papers, letters, maps, books, tapes, photographs, films, sound recordings, data processing software, or other material, regardless of the physical form, characteristics, or means of transmission, made or received pursuant to law or ordinance or in connection with the transaction of official business by any agency.
