Officers that are dirty should take notice, in the past it was easy and the brotherhood by and large protected even dirty officers, but in this new age of bits and bytes, if you break the public's trust, you could end up being Bybees roomate.

Please click here for another refresher. Integrity is lacking and it needs to be restored to the Sarasota Sheriff's Office, starting at the top where it is AWOL.

Most of us just want integrity and respect to be restored to the Sarasota Sheriff's Office -- and it's just not happening with Knight. He is leading us down some unethical (and shady) roads. There is nothing respectable about a circus act with a ringmaster who keeps playing the same dirty political tricks, both inside the agency and now in public too (in reference to the charitable scam stuff).

If the appeals court rules against Knight... and if Knight still refuses to obey the court... then Knight can still be arrested and placed in a jail cell... sweet justice...

Thankfully, he protects the honest, hard working deputies and prosecutes the crooked trolls that pop up now and then.

When I was new at this job, I would have believed your c*ckamamie answer. However, after seeing Knight’s consistent dishonorable actions, no way! How many good hardwork SSO employees are going to be suspended and punished on trumped up ridiculous allegations? Anyone who doesn’t toe Knight’s party line is persecuted on trumped up crap. Let’s hold off on any judgements against Bybee until a jury of our peers speaks loud and clear.

Just read this post from another employee and read the comments about omissions this administration illegally and unethical withered.

There are WAY too many accusations by WAY too many employees going back to the very beginning of this administration to just blow it off as hyperbole.

Total conflict of interest. According to Bybee lawyer Bybee is currently forced to take showers standing in human excrement.. Apparently a 2nd circuit judge has dropped Bybees kidnapping charge...stories got more holes then an a piece of Swiss cheese...and even the judge is aware of that fact.

With all due respect, you need a reality check, your comment of 'EVEN IF' simply shows your oblivious to the obvious in defending him, when CLEARLY the facts proved he was guilty as sin. There is no 'IF', he sent those e-mails and tried to rip her off, he broke the public's trust and was judged, and he was judged fairly. It's that simple.

With that said, I feel bad for Bybees children, but his incarceration is due to Bybee's actions and greed, the jury did they're job, case closed, move on.

Luckily, most Sarasota LEO's are good officers with a positive moral compasses, Bybee's moral compass leads only to incarceration.
