I wonder if the policy regarding employee conflict of interest applies to HCFR in regards to being a member of an organization that is recognized by gov't agencies to support or be involved in criminal or illegal discriminatory activity. County employees are prohibited from being a member of any outside organization, group, or GANG characterized by the commission of, or the involvement in, a pattern of criminal conduct as identified by the State of Florida or Federal Government. Biker gangs have been "identified as such" at least as far back as the early 60's when the Hells Angels gained national notoriety. The Outlaws had a shootout with HCSO when their clubhouse was raided back in the day.

According to the Bible, God created man and woman. According to science, there are two sexes; man and woman. According to some wishful humans who want to be something they're not, there are however many genders they need to imagine to fit their desired identity. In reality though, no matter what you cut off or construct, or how many hormones you partake of, you are still biologically male or female. How you identify is your business but those who disagree should not be labeled merely because they state the obvious and don't adhere to your worldview. By your reasoning, would you be a heterophobic?

This is still a discussion/comment site isn't it? The above remarks aren't conducive to discussion or conversation, particularly the "stfu" comment. If you are annoyed by, or disagree with any of the comments posted, you should offer a relevant reply/rebuttal or please feel free to go on to the next comment/thread. STFU is usually the response of those who are unable or unwilling to reply intelligently with counterpoints. Some people here just need to vent while others offer valid insights into relevant issues. Unfortunately, there are also quite a few juvenile-minded individuals who enjoy cheap sniping and puerile attempts at being snarky.

I personally dont give one crap about HCFR, bikers, or whatever this topic has drifted off into. The race and gender subject is touchy and completely a matter of numerous opinions. In the end, no one will agree on anything anyway. And for what? Who cares? This particular forum is for discussing issues with the HCSO that need to be addressed to make our jobs better. Facutal and tangible issues like staffing, leadership, and discipline. Lets not argue over big picture issues that we have no control over that solve nothing in the end. It make us look like retards. Focus people. Screw HCFR. They get all the credit and hype while we are made scapegoats of. We have work to do here. Other than some fake wannabe bikers, one poor leader in particular, I think this is a non HCSO issue.

Interesting. I was waiting to see how an HCSO deputy, detective, or imediate supervisor were somehow fired or demoted over this due to asking for the jacket, not asking for the jacket, not taking it, taking it, or whatever horse crap they would come up with.... Just because that is the typical thing to do here at the no balls HCSO. Fire a deputy to protect the agency from whatever is hot in the news. Then the peanut gallery will feel the HCSO did their job. See, when you burn your deputies, then you are doing your managerial duties.
