We citizens have had enough of your crap. You all know nothing about government and public service. Hendry County is a small county with a small population and low property values. In case you weren't aware we don't have the population or tax base to support the larger salaries you think you are entitled to. Yeah the rookies could go to other counties and get larger salaries, but if they hadn't started somewhere like Hendry County they wouldn't have had the experience and training to get those higher paying jobs. Everyone has to start somewhere.

I have read ALL of your bi$&!ing and moaning about the rotten conditions. The way I see it. Is that each one of you were the common denominator. Things have improved since you left. If there are more of you currently employed at the HCSO, that are reading this, and you hate it so bad, remember no one is forcing you to stay. You are a dime a dozen, you can and will be replaced.

Examples of how things have improved:
MV the county no longer has to waste money on PSAP equipment failing because there is no one there to sabotage it any longer.
LR Females can come to work without fear of you making them cry
Cruz, we no longer have to spend budget money on new vehicles because you're not there to wreck them. Or to continue to pay you to milk your light duty status after hurting your ankle when the little bug scared you.

We also don't have to worry about bully and ass$&@ deputies who think their poop doesn't stink. We want quality staff who have a genuine love and compassion for the people that live here. SW may not be perfect, but he does a great job showing the community that he cares about people. That is something you could each learn!

RG we are glad you lost because now we don't have to see anymore of your wasted money and hate mail clogging up our mailboxes. Sadly, you might have won if you hadn't relied on your henchman Cardillo to tell you how to run your campaign. You may have won if you had campaigned on your ideas, and the good moral standing you claimed to have. In case you weren't aware, Hendry county is a good community full of honest, open minded, and kind hearted people.

We know you people hate our community, it's obvious, especially when reading all your negativity in this forum. Why don't you disappear and just forget about us? Why do you insist on continuing to harass and belittle our citizens with your nonsense? We darn sure won't be thinking about you any longer. It must be sad that you cannot let it go.

To Steve - congrats, you won. To Ricky - too bad, but you tried your best. For all of those that work at HCSO, do your job to the best of your ability. No matter who is in office, do what you were hired to do. Don't ever do anything immoral, unethical, or illegal; it will come back to haunt you if you don't! If you are an honest and straightforward employee, wear the uniform with pride and dignity. Some will say that you represent the Sheriff, but I believe it's much deeper than that; you represent the agency, no matter who is running it. Steve may in there now, but how long does any of you know it will last? He may very well be escorted out in hand restraints as stated above. If that happens, whomever comes in will uncover any Cancer that is there and cut it out! Hendry County deserves to have a professional agency that serves them, and I don't feel that is what they have now. It is a good agency, but good is not good enough, it needs to be great! I am a lifelong resident of Hendry County and want what is best for all the people, not just the few that think that they are entitled.
