    Miami Dolphins Escort

Just a few questions regarding BSO and the Dolphins...

Why does BSO do the Miami Dolphins escort when it's not even in Broward County? Shouldn't it be assigned to Miami-Dade P.D.?

Also, what authority do those Deputies on the escort have to use lights and sirens, in a law enforcement capacity, outside of Broward County?

Why don't you refuse to yield to emergency vehicle while in Miami-Dade and find out??

Why do the Dolphins get an escort anyway? They are just football players. They make enough money they can get to work on time.

It is the same thing as funeral escorts. You can drive like a psycho to escort a DEAD person, but you can't drive like a psycho to chase a LIVE felon. Makes no sense.

NFL has visitor teams stay in Broward hotels so they need to get escorted to stadium that sits on the northern edge of Miami Dade County...what should be do dump them off at 215 St and make them walk 16 blocks?

If they don't stand for the National Anthem, yes I think that would be a great idea!!

Actually, technically he can refuse to yield all day long as long as he's in Miami and there's nothing anyone in a BSO car can do about it.

It's a traffic infraction outside of Broward County. If it was obviously more than a traffic infraction that's something different but there's no jurisdiction for the stop. Yes if you really wanted to you could make the stop and call for Miami-Dade or FHP to sign the ticket but it would never hold up.

True. That's another sack of shit looking for their fifteen minutes of fame. Why do so many people choose to remain living in a place that they have so much hatred towards??
