Fort myers has 8 agents when full staffed there currently hiring two more to bring it to 6 plus 6 inspectors they will remain a stand alone district with a captain. You will see the current captain phased out shortly and captain NP will be named.

Old way of doing things. No reason captains should be limited by geographic regions. Expect to see captains with 4-6 direct reports (lieutenants) and expect to see lieutenants having to actually supervise instead of running to the captains to whine about their direct reports and getting their noses wiped. With all the technology available today a captain in Miami could be the captain in Fort Misery.

Unless you have 2 years or less left you would be playing with fire if you take an SES job. Either that or you are awfully arrogant and/or need the cash. It's the monster they created. Now you have LTs not waiting to promote, so those jobs are blocked for those of us a waiting to promote. Plus with this crew at top it's even more risky. The perfect storm
