    Vespia Community Interaction?

Chief Vespia commitments on a continuing bases how he makes sure the department interacts with other city functions.
It is Saturday the 24 shortly after 11AM. One of our cities biggest sporting event s taking place at the NPHS.
The entire highschool ground is taking up with parking.
So much so that the school admin has to have other vehicles (including other school system visiting team buses)
park across the street (Price Blvd).

People are forced to cross this busy east, west road to attend this event. They have to deal with it's already normal traffic plus vehicles coming and going from the event.

Here is the point, there is no traffic control by the NPPD AT ALL!!!
There is not crossing guard, Explorer, or uniformed officer at all!

So Kevin where is the NPPD support and Interaction with this community event?

After all these years suddenly, Kevin wants to interact with the community. Kevin is simply unsuccessfully trying to change the peoples opinion of him and hopefully keep his and to a lessor degree his friends/appointees jobs. Sorry Chief, you screwed the pouch too many times, you need to go and take your friends with you

One of the track courses was laid out by highschool maintenance days ago. The school resource officer would have been aware of the meet.
So why was there no marked car present?
Every day when school is out there is a marked unit on the right of way with it's emergency lights on.
There was none at all at noon with hundreds of people coming or going through the area.

Everytime an admin f&ck like this is pointed out there is no counter responds from them.

He was at a kids birthday party taking selfies for the PD facebook page. Where else do you think he was? He is actually filming a new reality show with the newly formed North Port PD film and media crew it's called "Birthday Crashers". He and his appointees drive around looking for random kids birthdays to crash. Once there they get lots of photos and videos for facebook. Should be fun to watch.

From the Weekly Highlights this week.. Some encouraging as in the "Officer Discipline Course" (hoping the Chief was included in the staff that attended.) Some funny.. Chief in a Venice Fashion show...Why?! This city sure spends lotsa time party or event planning. That is not limited to the PD... but is across the board comment.

WoW and we as taxpayers are spending millions of dollars on administrative spending in the PD so he can attend a fashion show, it will never ever end. PBA does shop with a cop and the restread between the lines, they did nothing this week, except 2nd guess there officers.

Update: Our Model Chief was walking the runway for a good cause the Friends of North Port Library. Not sure how it is an offficial act and charitable at the same time but i guess politics dont end after elections.

I must say i DO like him out of uniform... we should arrange that permanently for him =)
