Sheriff Israel just turned 60 this year. He can easily do another 12 years or more. He's Sheriff for as long as he wants the job. Complain about turkeys and ice cream cones and outreach people, and point to lots of terrible Bob Norman stories that will "bring him down" ..... but in the end voters don't care, and they love him. He's sheriff for life.

Then he told the community in Pompano Beach that BSO will no longer investigate shootings involving their own BSO employees. What the what?

So why do we have BSO? Is this only in Pompano? Are we really no longer a "Lawr Enforcement Agency?
