Cool learned something but there still is the 10 year requirement of paying on your own so it's really not worth it,.

10 year to wait before you can even apply for the program is a long time.

The whole idea of a student loan IS supposed to be to pay it back someday. My loans could buy a really nice house. So anything forgiven is putting you ahead.

Every month you are employed by a public sector employer counts as one of the 120 months (10 years). Of course, you can apply for income based payments during the 10 years and reduce the payments while working for a public sector employer (to pay less into re-payment).

Then, after 10 years, the remaining balance is forgiven.

Or you can default on the loans altogether because you have no job and owe 100%.

I am not in Australia. What are the quarantine room conditions for Discus like? Just curious.

Any advice with the poly? I have never taken one.

Thanks again for all of the responses.
Best advice I can offer you is try to remain calm. Always be honest. Law Enforcement agencies are seeking honest applicants. Don't try to make yourself look like the perfect applicant because if they catch you lying, it can haunt you when you apply with other agencies.

    Best of luck!
