HUDSON — A Hudson man crashed a sportscar into the front of a house early Sunday morning, injuring a man inside and causing tens of thousands in damage, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.


Jack Wayne Armstrong, Jr., 23, now faces charges of driving under the influence, causing property damage while driving under the influence, and careless driving, according to the FHP.

At 2:20 a.m. Sunday, investigators said, Armstrong was driving a Chevrolet Camaro northbound on Balsam Avenue in Hudson, approaching a T-intersection. Instead of slowing or stopping, the FHP said, he plowed ahead, hitting a stop sign and crashing into the front of the home at 13204 Shadow Lake Boulevard.

The house's occupant, 71-year-old Roy Tomlin, received minor injuries. The FHP said the estimated damage to the house is $75,000.

Armstrong's injuries were minor as well. The FHP said his blood alcohol content was 0.11, which surpasses the level of 0.08 at which a driver is presumed impaired in Florida.

Interesting how the media said "Armstrong was a probationary Sheriff's County deputy in Pasco, working in corrections since 2013." He was a probationary Road Deputy. Funny how Nocc-Hole will get in front of the camera and say crap like "He/she should never of had a badge" when a Detention Deputy slaps an inmate on camera, or the opposite, defending a Corporal who nearly blows the balls off an inmate with the wrong round in a shotgun. Nocc-Hole sure has some inconsistencies, and loves spewing his diarrhea in front of a camera.
