Pull the Sheriff's endorsement
Pull it, we dont have to endorse anyone. This is a crock of shit. IstUPA does not have any power to do anything except pull this endorsement. When asked we just tell the media we are not endorwing anyone. Send A Message.
Why should we endorse the Sheriff?

Haha, BSO wake up, this is exactly what the Sheriff thinks of us. Low rent. He has shown it to us in many different ways. Why wait until Sept 1. It will be a huge punch in the gut if it is done before Aug 30. Put it in the paper. The Sheriff has shoved this rotten contract down our throats and you say wait until Sept 1. That is Crazy talk. Wake up!!!
IstUPA emergency meeting Saturday night 7:00 pm. Atleast do something and not nothing. If only 2 people show up and you have a secret ballot and they vote to keep the endorsement than fine but do something. These guys just spit in our face and called it Rain. What are you going to do IstUPA?
Show us why we voted you in or are you going to lay down and lick the spit off your face.
IstUPA wake up!!!!

Why would anyone want the PBA back? You had your chance and permitted a lot of abuse against the rank and file. Stop your nonsense. You don't deserve a PERC election. Maybe in five years if the IUPA Union doesn't work out but for now you lost your perks the agency had given the union. PBA Stay out of contract negotiations you set a precedence with 2,2, opener under lameo. No thank for now. You're a closed book.

So what is the solution to our current problem?
Should we roll over like the PBA has done?
Or should we fight this because IstUPA said they would?
The way I see it, I would rather have the union who spit in the Sheriffs face not the union that the Sheriff spit on and said it was Rain. The Sheriff told us he would give us raises because we deserve it. Now like someone posted earlier, we are low rent he does not need us.
Pull the endorsement. I would say PERC for Plea or FOP but PBA would have the vote. IstUPA has done nothing during these negotiations. They have been pushed around and laughed at by this Sheriff and ita shows.
PULL THE ENDORSEMENT. Since we are low rent it should not mean anything but once we tell the paper we pulled it because we are not wndorsing anyone, it does send a message without saying we dont stand behind our Sheriff.

If IUPA pulled the endorsement, nobody would notice. The public knows FOP and PBA, has never heard of IUPA. As for campaign volunteers working the early voting, I see IAFF, FOPE and FOP faces in campaign shirts on his Facebook page. I see PBA people working as Fondo volunteers on his page. I see no IUPA people anywhere.

and if IUPA did, you would say we were selling out. Can't have it both ways
