Here's the real deal bro: If you have no other options, this is a great place to go. You will get paid to train, your certification for free, and the job is rathrer one-dimensional. It's not hard. Other than Capitol Police, it's the easiest job in Florida law enforcement. As a result, the pay is low and the work is rather repetitive. That's the bottom line. If you have options like being able to pay for your certification or if you have a desire to "branch out" then go with a mid or large size agency. City or county, it doesn't matter.
