Back before goofy Balkwill was here, it was always told that no matter how bad you **** up, if you tell the truth they will work with you (unless a crime obviously).

Then, M E R C U R I O comes into in-service saying the SAME THING under the Balkwill regime. Difference is, he coerced you into telling the truth so he would have reasonable grounds to fire you. If you were IN with him or someone above him, then they would play it off and you were saved.

Unfortunately, the day is near that things have finally caught up to some of these people and they probably have NEVER seen it coming. Walsh and ******** both definitely are aware that there is smoke in the building and are scared but play it off well. Gentlemen, your days are numbered and not for retirement.

Look at the documented histories of Knight's current and past inner circle: Hoffman, B u r n s, Walsh, Locke, McElyea and others -- and you have the audacity to say that change is coming? How do you spell schizophrenia?

Some people describe the circus elephant on the 2nd floor as a metaphor for management incompetance (by Knight and his circus clowns), but other people say that mErCuRi0 is the elephant. Pick your poison.

These deputies do not deserve to be fired or charged for trying to protect an informant. If they planted evidence or lied for personal gain then they do, but not for trying to protect an informant. I only know what the paper said. Give them time off and more training, but don't fire them.
