Capt. Blackman is part of the old good ole boy system. He allows jail staff to carry on inappropriate relationships. He covers for a certain older jail deputy, and allows a much younger female deputy to flaunt the relationship in everyone's face. Married deputy, whose wife pleads on facebook for this younger female deputy to leave her husband alone. Its disgusting.

As far as being bought by Alan Jay, have you even looked at the campaign finances? There is a single entry for Alan Jay. It was for allowing him to use his house for an event. There was also a single entry for Ashley Pearce, which was for the table/chair rental. There is only one other Pearce in the list and it was only for $50.

The cash and check donations total $63,420 and came from 352 donations. If you scroll through the list, you will see most of the donations are from people and businesses in the community, not Alan Jay.

The "good ole boys" would be anyone born in Highlands County. This county needs new faces and ideas in county government and at the Sheriff's Office.
Blackman is a good ole boy and has gone along with many cover ups.
It is funny to watch Blackman's supporters slandering people online, like they just did to Chief Fansler in the paper. These Blackman supporters think they will get better positions at the Sheriff's Office if he is elected. That is not going to happen. Blackman has his good ole boy list in place.
If Blackman is the answer and the savior of the S.O., then why are the Deputies leaving in droves for Polk County???? Blackman is employed there right now, he should make a difference NOW, he cant.

Flock = congregate or mass in a flock or large group.

So, how many have we had leave to go to Polk County? A couple, in about 5 years? You make it sound like there is a mass exodus, when in reality only a couple have left for Polk County. Speaking of inappropriate relationships....What is worse a young married blonde officer conversing inappropriately to male inmates and getting by with it or her constantly trying to get in the sack with her LT or CAPT?* My guess is she will be the next SGT.* The things these young female officers will do to destroy relationships, marriages, families, and friendships.*
