There has to be explanation for all of this. There is no way that Fondo will win a democrat primary in liberal broward county. Why would he associate himself with a former republican sheriff but also make sure to never be seen publicly with Donnie Harris. Is there some master scheme to try to wound Israel in the primary for a republican or independent? Is there some financial or resume related incentive for him to run a losing campaign? Maybe I'm giving him too much credit. Maybe they were just dilusional enough to think they could win.
I'm curious if you guys have some good theories.

Jimmy knows he's seen his last days in law enforcement and that he will never wear the badge again. Not just in Broward, but anywhere in the U.S., unless they're corrupt and don't do background checks. To make it worse, he can't find a meaningful work that pays more than minimum wage. So with his and his friend's built up hate for the current sheriff, chin, Lamberti, and donnie came up with a plan that they believe wound upset the sheriff by having fondo run for sheriff. But apparently they did not think this through because fondo and his friends are not liked at bso, the communities don't know him, and he has a horrible past at bso that includes corruption. He's also linked to Scott rothstein and Poole's arrest of an innocent mother of 4. I anticipate that her lawsuit will include fondo. So moving on, Jimmy figures since his life is boring, he has no money,his gf left him for a young stud deputy, and since he's living in donnies garage that he would run for sheriff because, it will cost him almost nothing and the campaign would pay for everything. In his mind, he would get one more shot at feeling important, like he felt when he was Disney wanded to captain and handed a position in sid, a position he was not qualified for. So long story short , fondo just wants to feel important after being depressed for the last four years because he can't seem to land a law enforcement job anywhere. This is a backdoor attempt to get back Into law enforcement.
