Maybe in 3 weeks. I haven't received a start date yet, I'm at final medical part then should get a call next week or the one after

They have so many recruits in the academy now I'm surprised they still hiring and processing applicants.

There is a long list of officers retiring in the next 1 to 3 years. Over 300, so they need to have enough to replace them.

Unlike MDPD under Gimenez, who is now playing catch-up just to meet annual attrition. Many here lambast Miami PD, but take it from one who worked with your SIS personnel back in 1976, MPD has always been a top notch police agency; even during its darkest days. Why I encouraged my nephew and son to join.
