    Does any department hire older guys

    I have been in law enforcement for 23 years. Granted all out of Florida. I got my training and certification in Florida.
    I get the same response everytime I apply for a position. Your not what we are looking for. I ask what are you looking for? They always say we don't know what we want.
    So is it because I am out of state? Is it because I am older?
    Does anyone know of any department that hires older officers

    Hiring of older Officers

    Yes some departments value experience, try the University Police at any of the State Universities.
