Midwest Major J.R. Ramirez a corrupt politician's best friend

With the current shortage of patrol units and manpower, what is our department doing by providing free 24 hour security to The Beach Club apartment complex in the area of Fountainebeau Boulevard? Here is a private complex with its own security force being patrolled by our green and whites around the clock on the county dime as shown on the attached link from El Nuevo Herald.
On the surface, it appears as though it is done out of "concern for safety". If you dig a little deeper you come to find out about the existing relationship between former South Miami Mayor and State Rep. Julio Robaina, our director, and the current head of Midwest District Major J. R. Ramirez. Needless to say Robaina is in the business of condominium associations with Miami Dade Commissioner Zapata and a simple request for "assistance" by that tandem of politicians results in a waste of manpower hours for the sole purpose of returning a "favor". Regardless of the ongoing situation between the outgoing and current condo board of this building complex our department should not utilize its resources to protect private interests and choose to provide free security to friends and family.
If you dig a little deeper then it gets dicey. You may remember Major Ramirez, he is the guy who handed up Frank Vecin and his gang to save his skin even though he was knee deep with Vecin. You may also remember not too long ago how Major Ramirez utilized green and whites to protect his own residence while under construction by placing units in front of the residence and protecting the delivery of his aluminum roof and other materials. To top it all off, this is a guy who went from lieutenant to major and is now awaiting a promotion to chief!
Major Ramirez we understand that sucking up has worked well for you and has resulted in many promotions. Where you not the guy who passed around the promotional test questions to those favored by the administration while at Personnel? Please Major, do as all a favor and keep your corruptive ways to yourself but spare the citizens of this county from paying out of their pockets to protect your politician friends!

You are right. The truth has been there in front of us all along. This department exists to ensure that our corrupt mayor survives another term. All of the cogs and pins in this machine called MDPD have been fine tuned to hide facts that are uncomfortable to our brass. The only brass that rises up the chain of command are those willing to sell their soul by accepting tainted orders and ordering others to lie, cover up and steal. Every Sunday they head to church, chapel or temple to cleanse their immoral souls. Some like our fearless puppet leader even run Emmeus retreats to shame others into compliance. The monies they amass for their retirements and the social strata they move around in this department eventually comes to an end one day and they are left with an empty shell. The major mentioned here is one of a handpicked cadre of corrupt officials surviving on the backs of the hard working men and women of this department. Shame on them all.

    Thumbs up The Regalado Dynasty!

Don't worry my friends the REGALADO dynasty will be taking over the Banana Republic. We will all be miserable like the officer's in Miami wearing t-shirts that read "Homeless" crying for a contract, pay, benefits. Regalado daddy taught her well I'm sure.

This happens in every district. Lincoln Fields had free coverage for a long time. Nothing new. Just a Major trying to make a problem go away.

This is above a major. It's no coincidence multiple districts were given the same instructions, to patrol the same complexes owned by the same person.

Yes, go ahead and "dismiss" the problem as matter of factly. That explains why we are saddled with a "strong mayor" who picks only "loyal" individuals to key posts in this department so he can conceal his crimes. Maybe that is the environment you want to raise your children in but to most of us our badge stands for something much higher than that. I'm sure your major is having a tissy fit right now for having been caught with his pants down. If the unethical actions of all these YES men were exposed we would not have the issues we have in our department.
