This election will be the closes race in history. IF the people who are against David Morgan use thier head, Morgan can be beat!! I don't care if you want John Johnson, Ron Mcnesby, or Dough Baldwin for sheriff. If we all take the attitude that we want anyone but Morgan, it will increase our odds. Support anyone of the three men above, and DO NOTHING to hurt the other two. If one of the three men running get behind in the polls and cannot win, then act like Dale Tharp or Andy Hobbs and switch fences!

Another words, shut your mouth Camac. Stop bad mouthing Mcnesby and Baldwin. Not that anyone listens to you! Your not coming back to work here, you will not be the chief and you certainly will not be the fitness and strength coach for the department.

The majority of us, just want Morgan gone. We all need to work hard against Morgan is my point. If everyone can put thier wants ,Promoted, return to the department or whatever, to the side and work in one common goal.

Last, it does my heart good to hear people bash him, but what citizens want our facts. If people would start posting the FACTS on Morgan, we will catch the VOTERS EYE! For example, The story about Morgan's son being involved with a porn and drug Ring, and how Morgan gave him money and sent him to stay in thier cabin out of State, and Scott A. Covered it all up, and continues to cover it up to this day!

Somebody has finally got it right. Amen to the previous poster. I am retired and have nothing to gain. I too want anybody but Morgan. lets just say I'm a disgruntled ex-employee that has an axe to grind and I'm on a mission to destroy you Morgan and Haines just like you have done to so many others. You are correct. I am not coming back to work at the sheriff's office or anywhere else. I'm not sure what I did
to piss you off, but we at least seem to agree that if the personnel at the sheriff's office would get behind one candidate, that would provide the best possibility that Morgan would not be re-elected. Choosing what candidate
to support is a personal decision, and I have chosen to support John Johnson. I have not bad mouthed McNesby
or Baldwin. Either is much more qualified than Morgan to be sheriff. Both have at least worked the streets of
Escambia County. Forgive me for not following your sage advice to shut up. I will continue to do what I can
through the use of public records requests to make you and any other potential voter aware of the tax payer
dollars Morgan spends like it is his own personal money. I think it is extremely important for you and every other employee of the sheriff's office to tell their friends and relatives that Morgan spent $17,750 from the State Law Enforcement Trust Fund for 5000 challenge coins with his name on them to hand out to support his re-election. It is equally important for you and every other employee of the sheriff's office to tell their friends and relatives that Morgan spent $130,080 of tax payer dollars for the "Lock your doors" billboard campaign, that anyone with any sense sees for what it is: using a public service announcement to help his re-election campaign. The billboards run from March 15th until August 21st: the primary election cycle. I will have more information about Morgan's lack of fiduciary responsibility in
the coming weeks.

To the original poster, while I appreciate part of what you have to say, I must admit, you're wrong. First off, you make us all look bad with your grammar and 3rd grade writing skills.

Second, Being a friend of Jay, I'm sure he's not looking to return to duty. He is just speaking his conscience. It's pretty chicken shit to attack him anonymously.

Third, the only way to get Morgan out is to unify behind one candidate. Otherwise the votes will be too spread out and Morgan may get the most votes. My candidate is John Johnson. For all I know you and I may be friends but you still need to tighten up.

I did some reading and research on Porn since it seems to be a serious problem facing American families today. The subject experts suggest that porn is Genetic and the character traits of porn are often passed on from parent to child and generally by the father who is the dominant gene. It also goes on to say in most instances the child has been exposed to some form of porn in the family setting. Im not an expert but my opinion it's a sickness! If true It makes you wonder. Maybe in this instance you should tell your child not to trust this Sheriff!

Why cant somone post this stuff or get it to the right media outlet. How about posting it to Northescambia under the comments section. Its obvious hes buying votes or at least trying to and the billboards are stupid. His latest donation to the FFA is great and all but please explain to me how the FFA is a program to help deter crime? The childrens chorus? Arc gateway? Dont get me wrong i think its great they are getting free money because they are good programs, but how does it help prevent crime and so on as the money from the LET fund is supposed to be used for? I bet there is alot of people that dont about all this and need to. He never misses an oppurtunity for a photo opp or to get exposure. I just hope people wake up and see it for what it is.

There are only 2 real candidates in the race that have a chance to beat Morgan. Johnson and McNesby! Johnson time will come in 2020.
