This week, our Fire & Police Pension Board is going to give, without any public or trustee comment (it's on the consent agenda) over $300,000 PLUS around $10,000 EACH AND EVERY MONTH FOR LIFE to the 2 former Police Officers (Detective & Sergeant actually) who were caught up in a clear forfeitable offense.

So much for government in the Sunshine and so much for the axiom "Crime Doesn't Pay". We need to change that to "Crime Doesn't Pay, Unless Your Mayor Wants to be Governor and You're a Scared Pension Trustee".

As expected, the dynamic trio of cops on our pension board let us down, AGAIN! They voted unanimously to give back pay of around $300,000 to Eric And LaJoyce Houston PLUS an additional $10,000 per month FOR LIFE! Now that's a great way to show your fiduciary duty to our pension plan.

The 3 Mayors Stooges ( Mayor appointed Trustees ) and the 3 Hose Draggers( Fire Elected Trustees ) have convinced our 3 Trustees ( Police Elected Trustees ) to vote for promotions ( their promotions ) and not fiduciary responsibility.
