Once the announcement closes they will screen the applications. There are usually 30 that eat the requirements, so they pick the most qualified to interview. It takes a couple weeks to get all that scheduled. Once the interviews are done, they pick one to do a background on. That will take a couple more weeks. Once everyone signs off, you are looking at another two weeks for a start date. Plan on six weeks from interview to start date.
