NBC-2, as well as other numerous media outlets, are directly responsible for the increasingly dangerous jobs of police officers. They're creating slanted news stories, digging country-wide for news stories about cops who did wrong, and now they have reported on a particular investigative technique and tool used by law enforcement everywhere.

Since NBC-2 is so keen on keeping the public informed...lets help inform the public about the usefulness of public websites in obtaining personal information. Lets take, for instance, NBC-2 host Lisa Spooner....using very public websites (to include her own Facebook page) we learn that Lisa's address is:

This address can be confirmed by searching very public databases. Even better, Lisa has allowed the public to visually confirm her house by posting a photo of her house on her own public Facebook page! (the photo on her FB page can be compared to photos on google earth and the property appraiser site).

Although not illegal to share this public information, its probably not cool....in the same manner that its not cool to publicize law enforcement investigative techniques and tools. Right? Just as its not cool to exploit (for headlines) incidents where a cop did something wrong. Just as its not cool to add fuel to the fire in this war against law enforcement (making the cops jobs tougher and even more dangerous than it already is), which NBC-2 has continued to do. But with the media, all morals are out the window.

I would be the first to say that the news reporting here is poor at best. Just a bunch of amateur trying to make it to the big league.
I do want to say it is funny how only the lower ranking police seem to get caught. The higher ups must be well protected. You need to join the good ole boys club so you will not need to post here.
With that said NBC-2 why not take a good look at the higher ranking people. You know the ones who smooze with county commissioners and stuff. Or are you good enough to find out what is really going on.
