    Deputy Nezar Hamze

CAIR, Counsel for American Islamic Relations, is on a FBI watch list for ties to funneling money to HAMAS. Now BSO hires one of it's directors as a Deputy. He'll probably be in SID Homeland Security 1 month off FTO.

Holy crap-I came on here because I remembered seeing a lot of happy Facebook postings with SI & CAIR & was simply going to ask the sheriff to disassociate himself, or at the very least, stop linking BSO with CAIR. Nice to see other LEO's already aware. It's bad enough we cannot even enforce Florida & US laws, don't think we're ready for CAIR's 'type' of law.

Angry BSO: where criminals are hired and great employees get screwed!

The dregs of hiring began with the hiring of ex con Horsey boy Don Maines. The floodgates have been opened. Your chances of being hired at BSO increases if you have criminal ties!

To the person who reported this string as "Entire thread is defamatory" - Please look up the definition of Defamation, as this thread does not meet the criteria. I ran information from the post in Google and saw nothing that seemed to be inaccurate. I do not have access to BCSO employment records and thus could not verify that info. If anyone has information that disproves anything posted under this subject, you are welcome to contest it by submitting a response here.

Wow, someone's complaining about this already? Let's check this information out:

    According to WikipediA about CAIR:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council...amic_Relations

    1. In 2007 the organization was named, along with 245 others, by U.S. Federal prosecutors in a list of unindicted co-conspirators and/or joint venturers in a Hamas funding case involving the Holy Land Foundation, which in 2009 caused the FBI to cease working with CAIR outside of criminal investigations due to its designation.
    2. CAIR has been criticized numerous times by various officials and organizations. The organization was criticized as pursuing an extremist Islamist agenda, and putting out propaganda.
    3. In 2003 CAIR employee Randall "Ismael" Royer was arrested for his role in the Northern Virginia jihad terrorist network.
    4. California Senator Barbara Boxer in December 2006 withdrew a "certificate of accomplishment" originally given to former CAIR official Basim Elkarra after Boxer's staff looked into CAIR, and she became concerned about some of CAIR's past statements and actions, and statements by some law enforcement officials that it provides aid to international terrorist groups.
    5. The Investigative Project on Terrorism reported that on August 7, 2007, a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent testified at the Holy Land Foundation trial that CAIR was "listed as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood's Palestine Committee", that it had received money from the Foundation (conflicting with Nihad Awad's Congressional testimony), and that co-founders Awad and Omar Ahmad were "listed as individual members [of] the Brotherhood Palestine Committee in America."
    6. In 2008, the FBI discontinued its long-standing relationship with CAIR. Officials said the decision followed the conviction of the HLF directors for funneling millions of dollars to Hamas, revelations that Nihal Awad had participated in planning meetings with HLF, and CAIR's failure to provide details of its ties to Hamas. During a 2008 retrial of the HLF case, FBI Special Agent Lara Burns labeled CAIR "a front group for Hamas." In January 2009, the FBI's DC office instructed all field offices to cut ties with CAIR, as the ban extended into the Obama administration.

According to the Internet about Nazir Hamze and Nezar Hamze:

There is no listing for Nazir Hamze or Nezar Hamze as a LEO (site might not be updated)
    http://cops.heraldtribune.com/Find?Query=nezar

The Facebook page for Nezar Hamze states that he formerly worked for CAIR-Florida as their Executive Director
[Link not provided because it is asserted that he is a LEO]

Representative Allen West wrote to Nazir Hamze, identifying him as an officer at CAIR Florida

    http://www.jbs.org/voting-index/west...r-florida-nuts

The Broward Republican Party rejected Muslim Nezar Hamze who is director of the Florida branch of Counsel of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). He was seeking a seat on the Broward Republican Executive Committee (BREC).

As recently as 06/12/14 (3 months ago) CAIR announced that they were merging their two Florida chapters (Tampa & South Florida) into a single organization called CAIR Florida. Nezar Hamze ran the South Florida operation and will now be the statewide regional operations director. They have 11 staff members including 5 attorneys.

At 1951 hours we received another report that this post violates our Terms of Use as follows:

"Thread by its very title insinuates that all Muslims are terrorists and all members of any Muslim organization are linked to terrorism if a terrorist connected in any loose way to the organization. Then you have people naming the deputy. Racial discrimination."

    School Is In Session:

The title "BSO Hires Deputy with Terrorist ties?" does NOT insinuate that all Muslims are terrorists. It does not even mention Muslims.

Yes, people named a person that might be a deputy (his employment status has not been verified) which is not a violation. The spelling of the person's name may or may not be accurate (there are two different spellings found in news articles). It is also not a violation for news organizations, like those referenced, to write stories about this person.

Finally, you need to look up the definition of Racial Discrimination. Muslim is not a race, but a religion. And no, there is no Religious Discrimination in the thread either.

The following is directed to the user who keeps erroneously reporting this thread as violating our Terms of Use. You have the right to post your own views in this thread if you disagree with what's being posted. If you choose not to, then I must assume it does not bother you enough or that your argument is not strong enough. You also should educate yourself before making accusations that are absolutely not true. You are not doing yourself any favors if you want people to believe you are credible. If you continue to erroneously post violations about this thread which is abusing our system of moderation, you will be banned from this system and, if necessary, dealt with more seriously. If you need to make further inquiries, you can send an email to info@leoaffairs.com.

CCN# 17423, if case you need to check if he works for BSO. Plenty of videos on you tube that this Deputy is in and has no problem speaking his mind.
