QUOTE=BigTrouble4LittleYeezy;2566702]So, Warren Merriman III lost his police job and then got convicted on theft rap.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE FUNNY STUFF!!
Warren swiped the Official Seals of the U.S. Navy and the FBI for use on his real estate business cards. Compounding the offense, he published the biz card on his commercial website www.ManateeNewsNow.com.
Don't bother scrubbing the evidence, Warren. We have your biz card and a screen grab of your website. Uh, and so do they.....

"Official Seals"
So I guess the FBI and Navy will be going after all those people that use these "seals" when they post them online, wear ball caps with them, have pictures with them, coffee mugs, etc., etc., etc. Someone needs to get a life. I have mugs, caps, pictures, and other items with the seal from the Navy. Oh, by the way, I am not WTM III, nor do I live in that area. I just visit these sites for laughs.

Consciousness of Guilt: covering up evidence when someone calls your bluff
BWHAHAHA!! Warren Merriman has abruptly removed the Navy and FBI insignias from his website newsmanateenow.com
Speaking of trademark infringement, consider the "likelihood of confusion" among readers that his website is copycatting the respected precursor site NewManatee.com

All aboard the S.S. Blivet
-"Navy War Veteran" imprinted in his real estate agent biz card
-"Served in the Persian Gulf War as a Cryptologist" printed on his real estate website
He implies that he served in a combat zone (definition: a war veteran is any GI ordered to foreign soil or waters to participate in direct or support activity against an enemy.) Crypto technicians have desk jobs, not physical tasks. The problem with the term "Persian Gulf War" is that the usage is ambiguous, having now been applied to at least three conflicts.
But one thing is certain! Asking for campaign donations will get the same reaction Kanye's shoes got.

Having been a CT I know that your statement about "desk" jobs is incorrect. That is like saying a pilot only flew a plane in a combat zone but wasn't involved in combat. I was stationed with CT's that had served in areas of combat. If you research you will find that there have been several CT's KIA in Afghanistan. They were not desk sitters as you suggested.

Well, Warren, we ARE trying to research it. Your post seems to say that you served in-country in a combat zone, and so does your real estate business card ("Navy war veteran".)
Your post referred to your fellow Navy cryptologist who went into harm's way, as if he's just like you. He was an Expeditionary Warfare Specialist attached to SEAL Team 6, killed in action in Afghanistan. http://image2.findagrave.com/photos2...2431445817.jpg
Heroism in a combat zone deserves special attention. Maybe some voters think instead that you were a "Gulf War-era" swabbie who served during war time but not in the theater of war. We just want voters to know the difference. As a political candidate (and evidently a crypto-combatant) it makes sense that you'd want to be forthcoming about your Gulf War service record, especially in light of your advertising.

Sorry, not Warren here. I am out of state. You are correct that the individuals are/were EWS entitled to wear the insignia but they are still CT's and have the CT on their crow. Anyone (be it a CT,BM,HM,AO,etc.) that has served in a declared war zone is entitled to state they are a war veteran. Sailors that served onboard ships off the coast of combat zones and were taking part in the operations are war veterans. They can join the VFW because of that status. Again, I am here for laughs. This site is so funny and people like to split hairs. If you were military and have been a CT or EWS please post more. I enjoy the entertainment.
