So adjudication withheld for 2nd Degree Misdemeanor, does that disqualify him from running for Mayor, word is that he is filing this week because he was telling people that the offense is a level below DUI which is common???

Marion Shepilov Barry, Jr. ----
In January 1990, when he was videotaped smoking crack cocaine and was arrested by Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officials on drug charges. The arrest and subsequent trial precluded Barry seeking re-election, and he served six months in a federal prison. After his release, he was elected to the Council of the District of Columbia in 1992. He was elected again as mayor in 1994, serving from 1995 to 1999.
It's typical for a politician to be a crook.

Theft by a public official should be a felony. I am sure they, him and his wife, will spin it as it's only a misdemeanor. But, a THIEF is a THIEF. I hope she likes crow. Now at any public forum she appears at while running fir City Council she can answer the question "what is your opinion of your husband being found GUILTY of theft?"
