    TIME TO RE-POST

Not Israel, Lamberti, Or the PBA. It's YOU
All I keep reading about on this blog is all the wrong doings of Lamberti, Israel, and the PBA. They hired this guy, that guy, he's a capt, she's a LT, FDLE investigations that don't exist, Muslim deputies, OH No run for your lives. Dave Benjamin, who I guess is getting a stipend in prison to run things. You people make me sick, literally sick. All you ever cared about is unmarked cars, weekends off and two hour lunches. The rank and file created this atmosphere and you have nobody to blame but yourself. Now, you want a raise and the same issues that existed 7-8 years ago still exist. Well, what's the issues. Everyone wants a big raise, but the sheriff says he has no money. Same argument, just different people. And the end result will be the same. People in plane clothes, K-9, Motors, (stipends) SID making unlimited overtime, and SWAT guys with their 15 guns and SUV's. And let's not forget the Viper unit who grow beards because they get to look like special forces. OH, MY, GOD. This place makes me sick. End you will end up with NOTHING!!!!!!! Get into the dam fight for once in your pitiful careers. First identify where the issue begins, then come up with a strategy. You don't need **** Brickman or Jeff bell to figure it out. Or, is it, let them stick their necks out so you get to keep the wonderful little things I just mentioned. But, when IUPA schedules their first Union meeting to discuss the contract, 15 people will show up. And that's where the problem lies. Good luck fools, you deserve what you get nothing.

But wait, this is all Lambertie,
I, like many others, are sick of your repost. Its been posted a thousand times. Find something else to say instead of cutting and pasting

    So, it's the obvious

Scott Erdelyi, who i know a long time is going back to the PBA, along with other specialized unit pay members, because the PBA will protect what they have, but not what's good for the entire rank and file.

The greatest quote of all time by John Bailin at a contract negotiating session.

"Unless you're willing to go 10-65 in a green and white, you don't belong in this meetin". Bob Lahiff(specialized unit) Jeff Poole(SID) told john to go F**k himself. And John said, "and that's where the problem is" 10 years later and the division is worse than ever because of people like Erdelyi who have spent 11 out of 12 years in a specialized unit.

    Truth hurts don't it?

And Scott why is it so bad that we have a vote? It's just a survey to see how we want to proceed, why does it bother you so much?

And who are you to judge Deputies who are on patrol? You did a total of 1 year on patrol counting FTO. You were a rookie when you got off the road and have not been back since.

You have no right to judge road patrol when you never worked the road for any amount of time.

Now you are sending out mass emails bashing the union and the survey. Why not use that energy and show up to a contract negotiation? I know the answer, its because you are selfish and only care about yourself.

You have it all figured out but you won't dare tell the Sheriff or anyone in command how you feel because you don't want to be sent to patrol.

We all have a right to vote get over yourself Scott.

You all are so funny. Erd put himself out there to the Sheriff and to you all. Post your name or post something on Facebook. He put himself out there why dont you. If not come by the PSB, he works Tues through Fri. He is a nice enough guy. He is not going to try to fight you. Sit down with him. He will talk it out. He tried to with Bell but Bell couldnt handle it.

Bernie Bell wants some to give up money so he can use that to fund giving everybody money. Let's get this straight Jeff, everybody wont be getting a 7 % raise. The road gets 7%, but Specialized units only about 5% because you took money away from them. So Jeff, why should specialized units get a SMALLER raise than road patrol. Ohh I get we, we have to sacrifice for everybody else. But the majority will vote for it. The majority who are used to participation trophies. Just like the majority of Americans will vote to raise taxes because they personally don't pay any and they want more free stuff.

Secondly, the 5% step increase that everyone gets retro to October, is that in addition to the step increase they were already slated to get that year? Lets say a step 6 Deputy has an Anniversary date in March, does he jump to step 7 retro to October and then in March Jump to Step 8? If not then the extra 5% is all smoke and mirrors. Your just promising him something now that he was going to get anyways. The only ones who will see anything are the guys with over 10 years on.

Look Bailen was right about Union Reps not wanting to 10-65. If you take the spot of a Rep, you shouldn't be afraid to 10-65 due retaliation. The purpose of a Rep is to stand up for all the people, and if he is afraid of losing a specialized unit he has no business being a rep. These reps are pitting one group of people against the other. But to claim that Specialized units are not entitled to any extra pay is a jump in logic.

Specialized units are SUPPOSED TO BE BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE. If that weren't the case lets have any retard work a homicide case, or make forced entry on a barricaded subject. They focus their craft and put in the extra work required for the position. I have seen a lot of guys turn down CI because they claim it is just not worth it. They say "Why should I give up 3 and 4 days off for a case load and a mountain of headaches. When working the road all i have to worry about is the call I'm on right now."

This agency already has a problem recruiting for some specialized units. I heard the last Motors posting received 2 applicants. The sheriff will never make Detective a rank, like it should be. It means giving up control. The agency saw a mountain of transfer requests when the road went to 12 hour shifts. It forced CI's hand and they went to 4 -10s. When no one starts applying for CI, is the Sheriff going to be allowed to force someone in? "Hey Deputy Jones, we think you would make a great Detective." "Sorry I cant I need this schedule for my child care, second job, or whatever." "Tough, go buy a shirt and tie and report to Special Victims on Monday, and have fun with the call outs." After all, we are all just Deputies right. If I can be transferred to District 54 tomorrow, why not CI?

What we are seeing here is hatred for guys who do a job that others don't understand. It is typical Socialist Bullshyt that we are all equal and all deserve the same. It pits one group of people against another. After the PBA debacle, I hoped IUPA would bring us all together.

Yeah, me too, tired of your repost a thousand times. Tired of cutting and pasting!

Bert you were #50 out of 55 when you were promoted. Make no mistake Bert you were promoted because you were black. Didn't hear you crying about race then.

Then you were put directly into motors after not spending one minute on the road, because you were black. Didn't hear you crying about race then.

Then you were put into SID with no experience and placed in charge of major narcotics, because you were black. Didn't hear you crying about race then.

Then you are removed from SID after only 9 months because you were unqualified and couldn't do the simplest tasks required by a Sgt. Now all we hear from you is that you were removed from SID because you are black.

You my friend are STILL a moron.

C'mon Jeff and Jason. What's up with these constant lies? First, I worked with Scott on the road in Lauderhill in 01 & 02 before he came to BSO so there goes your theory of 1 year on the road. Not once has he ever made a negative comment about road patrol during this whole thing. Why would he, his wife works road patrol. As someone mentioned before, all he wanted answered is why you, Jeff, can't answer why you want EVERYONE to be equal but you want to take away from some and not others. Still waiting for that answer.....show proof of your lies, cause he can show proof. Stop trying to cause issues between units in DLE Jeff. He didn't, you did....

Erd as you call him never put himself out there for anyone except himself. He was lying pampered scum bag as a Deputy worse as a Sgt to point where he was kicked out of IA. He would have been sent back to the road but since he has never worked it management knew that would be as bif a disaster as someone with his self serving personality was in IA so they buried him in CI. If anyone follows the Terd I mean the Erd then you are traveling down a road to self serving ruin.
