$20,000.00 bond for attempted murder of po
What Javier must do is go to the ASA and have the bond revoked. Writing the letter to the judge was the beginning, but having the bond "Revoked" asap is the next step. Don't sit on your butt because you wrote a letter, go on the offense and get that bond revoked.

Whatever happened to Sergeants reviewing arrest forms; especially one as serious as this offender's before taking the criminal to DC Jail? Clearly someone in a position of authority dropped the ball; badly. There – at MPD’s supervisory level – is where blame lies; not with the Jail, SAO and less the Judge. Time to genuflect in humble contrition Ortiz; remember, next time check your facts before pissing into the wind.

News alert it wasn't Ortiz that had the bad info. Two of our morons on the 5th floor swore to it they said it was and had been confirmed by the State Attorneys office. Well because of Ortiz's letter and actions the bad guys bond has been revoked he's back in custody with a $200,000.00 bond. Is there an opening for two idiots from the 5th floor in patrol.
