Chances off getting hired

I was arrested twice for petty things when I was 21, I am now 26. Once for having marijuana (personal use) and once for public intoxication. I have an uncle and cousin that works for the Miami Dade Police Department so I've always wanted be an officer. I know my arrest will affect me but will I still have a chance?

It may be a little soon but you never know. The best thing you can do is be 1000% honest about everything and let the cards fall where they may. Ordinarily, marijuana use is looked at on a case by case basis, but a marijuana arrest may be a deal breaker. Nonetheless, good luck if you decide to apply
