I will explain it for you... every 3 years you vote on a contract that entitles the sheriff to administratively assign a certain percentage of staff. No special qualifications needed, no justification needed, administrative moves are moves allowed to be used at the sheriff's discretion . In layman terms they are sheriff picks. Don't like it? Vote differently on the contract. Or better yet, make sure your guy wins so you could get one... unfortunately for you neither will happen.

It's great to see there are still people on this site in BSO that agree that the winning team IS the 28ers! Great to see that you agree that our sheriff and his cronies are favor-doers and admit SI is a screw-up and screwed good people, especially, in particular, the 28. Thanks for your support of some good deputies and the thousands that are still here, hiding in the shadows, like you. Don't worry brother, come January 2016, when this fraud is escorted out with his box of pens and staplers (stolen of course) and his potted plant, you can go back to living in the light as a free man.

2% and 2% with a rate increase in our insurance in 2017. Meanwhile, IG will be promoted to Major soon. That is where all our money and raises went to our top heavy brass throughout the agency. I wouldn't be surprised if IG son takes the Sgt's test even though he is not eligible.
