The sad part is that you already have troopers on welfare...it really is a damn shame that our legislature does not give a bleeding rats ass about the quality of life of troopers and this is why fhp cannot and will not retain many employees...nobody wants to have to go back to Work after retirement our salary is a joke and our retirement is a slap in the face...do your time and leave

When you stroke decent people for having a tag expired for 4 days, you spear chicken$hit and it is hard to make people believe you are a crime fighting force worthy of anymore than you have.

And people wonder why they have no support, it has just become a numbers game!

Exactly right.....stroke savages, thugs, and criminals. Decent people still support us until you fukk them over for a number. Decent people vote. Decent people who support us ask us who to VOTE for. There is more to being a crime fighting force than writing tickets.

Then vote and tell the legislators to audit the fhp reference citation quotas. We have a quota called soar, 2 tickets per hours.

Yea the tag was expired for only four days, but the real crime was that she had no insurance. I'm so sick of hearing that expired tags are chicken $hit, they are expired for a reason; usually suspended license, or no insurance. The next time someone rear-ends one of your family members and they actually have valid insurance....... Your welcome!

Bottom line folks, YOUR collective bargaining agent (CBA) is responsible for getting you a raise. Management works with the CBA to help with terms and conditions of employment. But until, UNTIL, FHP is represented by itself all of the rest of the agencies, both state and local, will have an affect on your pay.

Who leads the CBA? Local agency reps. They are good folks, but FHP is not at the forefront of their worries.

Huh? You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. None. FHP has been a separate bargaining unit since 2007. There are three PBA Bargaining Units for State Law Enforcement. FHP, FDLE special agents, and everyone else. FHP has nothing to do with local agency reps.
