Secretary JJ Thanksgiving Message: Citizens of Florida are Turkeys.
When Secretary J.J. came here she claimed "There is nothing wrong with FDC except a FEW bad apples." She is just full of worms.

More than a dozen FL State Prison employees included in drug investigation

Jacksonville, FL —
A nearly year-long drug trafficking investigation ends with 51 arrest warrants- including 10 Florida Department of Corrections employees.
Two people- including the main supplier- were arrested earlier this year. The remaining 49 warrants were issued Tuesday morning, and the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office says suspects are gradually turning themselves in or being located by deputies.
“Operation Checkered Flag” started in January with a tip. The Sheriff’s Office says they were shocked to see how large the network actually was.
“We knew we had a little bit of a pill problem, but we had no idea the extent,” says Sgt. Chris Bennett, who led the Drug Task Force in this investigation.
The investigation initially centered on Dylan Hilliard, who investigators identify as the primary dealer which the network revolves around. Hilliard would allegedly buy oxycodone and then sell them at a large markup, using the profits to fund an auto racing habit. His main suppliers were in Duval, Polk, and Alachua counties. Hilliard’s network moved an estimated $80,000 in drugs every month, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Hilliard allegedly supplied drugs to nine other DOC employees- who ranged in ranks from Correctional Officer to Major- as well as a “runner”, Jacob Dent, who would then traffic the drugs around Bradford County. Two of the DOC employees, William Markham and Evan Williams, are accused of smuggling the drugs and some cell phones in to the inmates at Florida State Prison.
All of the DOC employees were either fired or resigned prior to arrest. The Sheriff’s Office says all of the contraband is out of the Prison.
While “Operation Checkered Flag” is now done, the Sheriff’s Office says their overall quest is not.
“Anybody that is overprescribing or abusing our citizens or putting them in harms way is being investigated and is going to continue to be investigated,” says Bradford County Sheriff Gordon Smith.
Smith says his main focus through this process has not been about arrests, but about saving lives. He believes there are doctors that are improperly prescribing medicines like oxycodone in order to profit, and their efforts are now shifting to combating the spread of the addictive pain med.
“The next time that doctor’s writing that script, he better look over his shoulder. The next time that person wants to make that illegal drug buy, look over your shoulder, because there might be a fellow there in green or blue that’s going to take your freedom away,” Smith says.
Bennett confirmed there are some doctors already under investigation, but declined to give further details because those cases are active.

Who needs uniforms? In the past, you had Probation Officers arrested for Marijuana Possession and for giving their loaded weapon the a convict. How about the Probation Specialist who was arrested for the rape of one of his prison releases. And then you had the Probation Officer who was arrested in Lakeland for trying to pick up a prostitute. Who needs uniforms? Both sides of the fence are corrupt.
