"Who's azz did you pull that out of?"
Here's the fecal matter

St. Pete Police Chief Anthony Holloway would consider putting cameras on his officers if he could purchase ones that were mounted on officers’ guns. That way, video would start anytime an officer unholstered his/her weapon. “If I pull my weapon then it’s recorded and you’ll see everything that happened,” Holloway said during a City Council update Monday afternoon.
Not very smart. The publicity-mad chief can't resist the urge to take a selfie.

“Auto theft is not going down,” Chief Holloway said. “But if people were just to take their keys out of their car and lock their car, we could reduce it by 80 percent.”

Now that's some funny sh!t. Do as I say not as I do.
"“Auto thefts are the one area where it continues to move in the wrong direction,” Vincent said. “The numbers still aren’t very high. When you look at us in comparison to St. Petersburg, our rates are much much lower.”
Vincent and the Gulfport Police Department continue to strongly urge citizens to take the necessary first step in preventing this sort of crime by locking car doors all of the time."
Where's the Gabber follow-up story?

well
Again I ask: where does it say to replace gun lights with cameras? It doesn't. No wonder your trying defend the stupidity of Chief Vincent, you probably keep the spare keys to your cruiser in your unlocked car too.
