Defective Detectives
Does anyone else find it interesting that cases are being investigated properly, leads are being followed, suspects arrested etc. Hopefully the command staff will realize how stale the CIB "investigators" have become. There are very competent people within the ranks who will actually do work back there, and over the past few weeks they have proved it.
Perhaps the people from SDU who are doing CIB's job for them, should be put in CIB full time and the deadwood 9 to 5 internet surfers kicked out to the street to learn the basic police skills they never had a chance to master.
Some people should start to worry about their do nothing job security and if they once again threaten to leave for another agency .....provide them a ride for their interview.

And WHO is the supervisor in CIB that is responsible for this? Retired in place? Being "untouchable" is a wonderful thing, except for everybody else.

How does that guy get a golden pass for most of career, and pay bumps on top of that? This department was very shady under Longo, he was very unethical and very underhanded, and it seems to continue.

It's time for the protected defective to be put back on patrol working days and nights just like the rest of us.
