Your right, has nothing to do with the PBA because they are not our union.
Money was about to go forward. Thanks for nothing Jeff

The PBA is sure good at blaming others with zero proof of backing their statements. Oh yeah, that's one of the reasons they lost 50% of their south Florida membership!

Ok let me make this simple.

Told the sheriff the increase of:

    $47 for bars/escorts
    $42 for normal.

Not PBA....not IUPA....but Jeff Bell sent a letter saying he didn't want it.

That's correct, all the above should be the same detail rate. IUPA already brought this up and doesn't believe one is safer than the other. Historically they are correct!!

Now you are bringing up something that has nothing to do with this thread PBA. The port D is totally separate because of the physical work and the cruise lines agreed to pay it.

All details with the exception of the port should be the same rate.

    Ugh

Yes this has nothing to do with contract, however; the rates were "negotiated" by a detail committee while the PBA was our bargaining Union. The rates are more than fair. Why would IUPA, Jeff Bell, send an email to the sheriff refusing to accept the rates and threatening to fight it if he approves the increase. ". I'm an IUPA member and this is just stupid. The rates are higher for clubs and bars because NOBODY wants to work them. Instead of having all of dist 5/4 having to deal with these bars and clubs with the 6 guys working nights, BSO is trying to provide an incentive for people to work these details since they can't get filled. You people are idiots. It's extra money for everyone but you'll always find something to complain about. It has nothing to do with thinking that someone's life is worth more than someone else's, it has to do with filling a stupid detail.
