"Holloway was referring to his stance on body cameras in which he frequently cites concerns that victims’ privacy rights could be violated. One of his oft-sited examples was that an officer tending to a victim’s home following a crime could conceivably lead to video of that person’s home being captured and subject to public record."
Wtf?! every time he opens his mouth. . .The state passed a law last spring exempting body cam footage taken in a home from public records. Holloway's legal advisor reminded him of this at the Chief's Staff Meeting 11/18/2015. (The PBA's reaction on LeoAffairs is to call Holloway's critics loser, son, rookie, moron, idiot, trying to control the conversation.)

Your weren't getting the reaction you wanted on the other thread so you posted the same BS here? You really are an idiot.
"The state passed a law last spring exempting body cam footage taken in a home from public records." What does that have to do with the overall use of body cameras? It doesn't. It has to do with some of their legal usage. I have to wonder why your so hell bent on twisting this issue around. Are you one of those who don't want body cameras because your afraid of getting in trouble? If that's the case maybe your in the wrong profession.

The chief's stalling. As usual the LGBTQpba (post #42) is chillin' in the backseat of that slow moving jalopy, kicking up dust, distorting facts.

"In St. Petersburg, Holloway has, literally and figuratively, shelved the issue after initially saying he wanted to test out cameras this summer."

That was poster #28 ^ making a snide comment about how the current political climate in the dept is so-o-o much better than the old days. Well, the fact is former chief Darrel Stephens is very much with us and he's helping Holloway formulate SPPD policy. If that ain't retrogression I don't know what is.
