    Bad example mayor

What's wrong with the city and it's leaders. It's a shame when an officer reponds to a vehicle crash and smells the scent of drugs coming from one of the vehicles. Then gets verbally attacked & threatened so he backs off and is intimidated so he doesn't continue the drug investigation.
The officer questions the driver and gets verbally attacked by the mother of the driver who wasn't even involved in the crash. The officer who is white is called a racist and is threatened by the mother that she is going to call the police chief while pulling out her cell phone to video the officer. The driver and mother are black and the mother acted like this towards the officer like it was his fault and not her sons fault for breaking the law.
You wonder who these people are out here acting this way. None other than our own Mayor Messam's son and wife. What a reflection on our mayor. WOW, if his own wife thinks and acts this way towards the citys white officers then what does are own mayor think. Maybe that's why he is pushing for the promotion and hiring of more black officers and city officials. DON'T USE YOUR POSITION TO INTIMIDATE FOR PERSONAL GAIN!

Don't expect any support from Chief Black on this one. He'd throw you under the bus even faster than he did Code Manager Morgan.

sounds like someone was interfering with a police investigation and should have been arrested or demanded told to leave or suffer consequences.. but these days who has any balls.. no one!

I agree, obstruction is a good chargeable offense in my book. It doesn't matter your husband's the mayor.

This kind of stuff always follows the same kind of course. The mayor's kid will become more emboldened everytime Miramar officers back down due to protection from daddy, mommy, and a lame duck cowardly police chief. Then one day he will pull the same crap in another jurisdiction. He will then declare "my daddy is the mayor of Miramar"- to which the officer/deputy/trooper will say "so what" - then the consequences will come to him, as deserved. Ultimately, justice will be served, and part of the blame will lay with his reverse racist parents (mayor and all) and a spineless police chief. Just wait and watch.

Or maybe they (mother & son) will come in contact with a Miranar Officer that will say "so what" and do the right thing. There are a few of us still out here that have guts to do whats right no matter the consequences.

Once you lose your job, you can use your newly found free time fishing with manager morgan, courtesy of chief square face.

You must be one of the gutless officers or someone on the command staff. If doing the right thing means that I can lose my job, well I'll just take that chance. They are NOT above the law. THIS CORRUPTION HAS TO STOP!

Remember that you can lose your job for not taking action. Dereliction of duty
